Zyrest ("Zyrest," "we," "us," or "our") is a backup-management platform, operated by Jetlegz AI Studios, that lets website owners install a lightweight agent on their own server and manage automated backups of that site from a central dashboard at zyrest.jetlegz.com (the "Service").
This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
The short version: your backup files themselves are sent directly from your website to your own cloud storage account (Google Drive, Dropbox, or Amazon S3) — they never pass through or sit on Zyrest's servers. We store account details, site configuration, and backup job metadata (timestamps, file sizes, success/failure status) needed to run and display your backups.
If you connect a Google Drive account, Zyrest requests the
drive.file scope — the narrowest Google Drive scope available. This means Zyrest can only
access files and folders that it itself creates in your Drive (i.e., your backup files); it cannot see, read,
or modify any other file in your Google Drive.
Zyrest's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We use Google user data solely to:
We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not transfer Google user data to any third party except as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., temporary in-memory processing during a restore you request), or as required by law. We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless: we have your affirmative consent for a specific support request, it's required for security purposes, or it's required to comply with law.
You can revoke Zyrest's access to your Google Drive at any time from your Google Account permissions page or from your Zyrest dashboard.
If you connect Dropbox, we request only the scopes needed to write, read, and manage files within the app folder Zyrest creates — we do not request access to your full Dropbox account.
If you connect Amazon S3, you provide IAM credentials scoped to a bucket you control. We strongly recommend
(and provide a template for) an IAM policy limited to PutObject, GetObject,
ListBucket, and DeleteObject on that single bucket. We store these credentials
encrypted at rest and use them only to transfer your backup files on your behalf or at your scheduled times.
We share data only with the service providers necessary to run Zyrest, and never sell your data:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Zyrest or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to you).
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your account, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
We retain account and site configuration data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your account data, site configuration, and stored credentials within 90 days, except where we're required to retain records for legal, billing, or fraud-prevention purposes. Backup files stored in your own cloud storage are governed by your relationship with that provider and are not deleted by us.
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to maintain session security. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Zyrest is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Your data may be processed in Nigeria, and any other countries where our hosting and service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer and processing.
