These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Zyrest, operated by
Jetlegz AI Studios ("Zyrest," "we," "us," or "our"), including our
website, dashboard, and the Zyrest agent software (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or
using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. Description of service
Zyrest provides a dashboard for scheduling and managing backups of websites and databases. You install a
lightweight agent script on your own server; the agent communicates with our platform using signed, authenticated
requests. Backup files are transferred directly from your server to the cloud storage destination you connect
(Google Drive, Dropbox, or Amazon S3) — Zyrest does not store copies of your backup files on its own servers.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You must notify us promptly at info@jetlegz.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
4. Plans, billing & renewal
Zyrest is offered under Free, Pro, and Agency tiers, priced in USD (billed via Stripe) or NGN (billed via Paystack).
Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled beforehand.
You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise.
We may change our pricing with at least 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
Failed payments may result in suspension of paid-tier features until payment is resolved.
5. The agent & your site
You're responsible for installing, updating, and maintaining the Zyrest agent on your own server.
When we release an updated agent template, you're responsible for re-downloading and re-deploying it to keep receiving fixes and new functionality — older agent versions may lose support over time.
You represent that you have the legal right to install the agent and configure backups on any site or database you connect to Zyrest.
You're responsible for the security of your own hosting environment, including keeping server software and credentials secure.
6. Your cloud storage accounts
Google Drive, Dropbox, and Amazon S3 accounts you connect to Zyrest remain your accounts, governed by your
agreements with those providers. Zyrest is not responsible for:
Storage limits, pricing, or availability changes made by your cloud storage provider
Loss of access to your cloud storage account (e.g., revoked authorization, expired credentials, provider outages)
Data loss, corruption, or unavailability once files reach your cloud storage provider
You're responsible for keeping your connected cloud storage authorization active and for monitoring your own
storage capacity.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
Use the Service to back up or store content you don't have the legal right to possess or distribute
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Zyrest's systems or another user's account or data
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the agent's authentication or signing mechanisms
Use the Service to store or transmit malware, or content that violates applicable law
Exceed reasonable use of shared infrastructure in a way that degrades the Service for other users
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
8. Backup & data-loss disclaimer
Backups are a safeguard, not a guarantee. While Zyrest is designed to reliably schedule
and execute backups, no backup system is infallible. You should periodically verify that your backups are
completing successfully and, where the data is critical, maintain an independent backup strategy as well.
Zyrest is not liable for data loss resulting from server misconfiguration, hosting provider issues, network interruptions, or third-party cloud storage provider failures.
Restore operations depend on the integrity of the backup file stored in your cloud storage account; Zyrest cannot guarantee restorability of files it did not create or that were modified outside the Service.
You're responsible for testing restores periodically to confirm your backup strategy meets your needs.
9. Intellectual property
Zyrest, including its software, dashboard, agent template, branding, and documentation, is owned by
Jetlegz AI Studios and protected by applicable intellectual property
laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service and deploy the agent
solely for backing up sites you own or are authorized to manage. You retain all rights to your own website
content and data.
10. Suspension & termination
You may close your account at any time from your dashboard settings.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or engage in activity that risks harm to Zyrest or other users.
Upon termination, we'll delete your account data as described in our Privacy Policy. Backup files already stored in your own cloud storage account are unaffected, since they were never on our servers.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied,
including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and
non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jetlegz AI Studios shall not be
liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue,
or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or
the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the
12 months preceding the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jetlegz AI Studios from any
claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your
violation of any third party's rights.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without
regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of
Delta State, Nigeria.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date,
and for material changes we'll notify active subscribers by email. Continued use of the Service after changes
take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
